Summary: To the point !
Comment: I just took the in-service exam last week and also re-check my result and pretty much the book hit major points. I wish I would have more time or more motivation to study a bit earlier !! I hope the real board reflects the in-service exams.

Summary: FP review
Comment: Hi,
I had taken a 5 year sabbatical from Medicine (Boarded in ER and FP) so I had to take the SPEX as well as the FP Boards, and along with online CME sites, I primarily used this book - I took notes, then took "notes on my notes" - so I basically knew it backwards and forwards (I went through it 3 times). Not only did I EASILY pass the SPEX, but the FP Boards as well. I now find that being back in Medicine, just with doing this, I am well ahead of most of my practicing collegues. I found this a GREAT resource and would highly reccomend it!

Customer Rating: Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5Average rating of 4/5
Summary: helped with boards
Comment: My scores are not back yet, but I can already tell that this review book helped. There were questions in there that reviewed things that I don't think I had learned previously that were asked on the test.

Customer Rating: Average rating of 2/5Average rating of 2/5Average rating of 2/5Average rating of 2/5Average rating of 2/5
Summary: If the test is anything like this good luck
Comment: The questions are convoluted like another reviewer states.
If you memorize the book, you'll be in good shape. These
obstruse answers are stupid and have no application to the
real world. The straight forward questions will be recognized by all. If the test is like Bratton's one
might stand a chance. God save family practice it it's anything like this.

Summary: Family Practice Examination and Board Review
Comment: Very good review and I am actually relearning alot of pertinent information. A great study guide not only for FP's, but for anyone practicing primary care.
