Summary: poorly organized
Comment: This book is a bit too dry and recondite for beginners. The organization is terrible and explanation is not clear at all.

If you are a rookie about to entering the field of audiology. this book would only push you away~

Summary: Great book
Comment: I have a profesor who doesn't know the first thing about teaching. The only way I am surviving is by keeping up with this book. It is so clear. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't always define the bolded key terms until a couple pages later.

Summary: It's what the title says...
Comment: It's an introduction to audiology. If you're new to the discipline, then this is a pretty good starting point. However, it's not detailed enough for postgrad or research. For that I'd buy Katz's Handbook of Clinical Audiology or Roeser's Audiology Diagnosis.

Summary: GREAT
Comment: My order got here on the day specified when I ordered it. It was packaged great and everything was there that was supposed to be. SPEEDY and reliable.

Summary: Introduction to audiology
Comment: I just want to say that this text book is really easy to understand as well as to read. If some kind of uncertainty arises you can always refer to the CD that it comes with and it will help you understand the material in a more efficient and concrete way. I am happy with the text and I can now understand the science behind the hearing mechanism. I would recommend this text for the begginers with an interest to specialize in hearing and/or speech sciences.
