Summary: Nice resource to have on hand
Comment: If I had been able to check this out of a library near me I might have done that and used the money to buy craft supplies instead, but I didn't have that option and am not sorry I purchased this book. It's important to know up front that many of these ideas are extremely simple and common sense, but in flipping through the book I have found new activities I hadn't thought of before.
I'm a stay-at-home mother and I wanted some sort of inspiration for those days when I'm uninspired or tired after a difficult night, and this book does that for me. I received the book, sat down and started reading it; I'm not yet finished but after 10 minutes I had a list of 17 things we could do together when the moment is right. It's true that some of the suggested activities I had already thought of and many of them you could probably find for free on the internet if you are willing to spend the time looking for them, but I really wanted a quick-and-dirty resource that I can pick up and use at a moment's notice for those days that I really need it. The ideas are basic, but for me they serve as a springboard and I found myself thinking of ways to alter the activities in ways that would suit me and my daughter better.
My main criticism is that I was really disappointed in the section on food and don't see myself using any of those ideas -- ever. Those really need to be updated.

Comment: The book arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It is a great book full of ideas to keep a toddler busy. Be prepared to read in advance and stock up or prepare a few activities so you'll be ready to go.

Summary: Very Helpfull
Comment: I found this book very helpfull. I'm a first time mom living far from family and sometimes I just don't know what to do with my daughter. This book gave me some excellent ideas. My only complaint is that my child is still a little young for most of the ideas, but she'll grow into it.
