Summary: pocket size for the large hardcover
Comment: This book just gives you a more detailed review from the fundamentals of diagnostic radiology, the large hardcover. if this is your specific study this is the book for you.

Comment: The last edition was outstanding and extremely popular, although it was identicle to the msk chapters in brant and helms. Unfortunately with the new edition they went very cheap with the paper quality and thus the image quality suffers.

Summary: Incredible Sense of Syntesis
Comment: I'm a radiology resident, and tried to read many musculoskeletal books, all quite abrangent, but hard to read. I found incredible how Dr. Helms could make such a syntesis of musculoskeletal radiology. Of course many chapters are too small. For example, the chapter about MR in shoulder is insuficient. But other chapters, like the chapter about MR in the examination of the knee is amazingly complete in an incredible small number of pages!

Comment: Excellent photos and diagrams. It's easy to ready through and I appreciate the humor. A good initial book for a radiology resident.

Comment: It is a great small book. Although I am not a great fan of mnemonics it can be an everyday easy to find reference for skeletal imaging.
