Summary: excellent supplement to med-surg textbooks
Comment: This book has lots of diagrams, pictures, and helpful explanations. There are also some NCLEX-type questions. If you're a visual leaner, and if you need something that will clarify complex concepts, then I highly recommend this book.

Comment: That the cover is childish, but the information is very helpful. I have used other books by this series, and they are very helpful because they get to the point of what you need without all of the junk. I have the Phamacology book by this company and it was a godsend. When I saw this on line, this was what the doctor ordered. I plan to get this one as well, and suggest that desperate nursing students do the same.

Comment: This book is straight to the point in what to look for in your patient (ie.dehydration) it includes information on lab values also. I wish I had had it at the beginning of my studies. The cover is a little (kiddy) but the information is not.
