Summary: Excellent resource manual for cardiac rehabilitation
Comment: This book provides lots of background information which cannot be found on AACVPR Guidelines for Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Programs. It best describes atherosclerotic disease,cardiopulmonary response on exercise, strategy on risk factors management and behavioural modifications...etc. Last but not least, the case studies illustrated in this book provide good examples for health care professionals. Therefore they can develop their practice or education on cardiac rehabilitation based on the strong and latest evidence-based support!
