Comment: The Bible of ICU medicine, I have read 3 editions and each is better than the prior. It also is extremely useful in studying for the boards.

Comment: This is a very large compendium on critical care medicine. I had wished that it included a CD containing the text, but instead there is a login to the site which has all this and more. The information given is useful and very extensive. At times it appears a little too cookbooky for me, but I suppose that this is unavoidable unless they were to create an encyclopedic work. Sometimes, cookbook answers are what you are looking for. I found it useful in my preparation for recertification in critical care. I am glad I will not have to lug it around, though, and can use the website.
