Summary: This book can save your life
Comment: I wish I'd purchased this book when I was first diagnosed with SLE in 1991. This book shows specifically how the disease attacks each organ system, relevant research, and treatment. In essence, it can help the patient know when a sypmtom is serious (e.g., chest pain), and help them know the best questions to ask the rheumatologist to maximize their treatment.
