Customer Rating:      Summary: If you only have one nail textbook, this is the one you should own Comment: Mr. Schoon has greatly expounded upon his first edition of this excellent text. Content has nearly doubled, and he has included not only standard topics such as nail anatomy, adhesives, and product chemistry (which are vital for any nail technician to understand), but he has also added chapters such as "The Safe Salon" and "The Healthy Salon," among others. This new text includes great color photos. This text, set in a story format, includes a "Fast Track" which highlights the important facts of each chapter, as well as "Review Questions." Mr. Schoon's down-to-earth writing makes the most intimidating topics easy to understand. This book is an outstanding resource for nail technician and instructor.
