Summary: Worth its price...
Comment: I like the Blueprints series in general. However, it might not be enough info by itself for the national shelf. So, supplementing with the Case Files books is always a good idea. But, the book is a good general overview and a great place to start your studying. This book definitely helped me get a great score on the end of clerkship Family Medicine exam.

Comment: This book rocks! It covers the most common ailments seen in family medicine and concisely describes the pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, differential diagnoses, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment for each one. Studying from this book helps you put everything together before the family medicine shelf exam by giving you all the essential information with 50 sample questions at the end. It's an excellent review and a great reference to have for the clinical years.
