Comment: Love 'em. After only a few uses, my aching eyes feel so much better. My optomotrist told me that I needed to wear swimming goggles to bed at night to combat the eliments that were drying out my eyes and I freaked. I searched for something to do the same job that would be perhaps a bit more comfortable. Boy was I over-joyed to find Tranquileyes. My eyes feel soothed at night and I sleep better in general. As a bonus, the neighbor's motion sensor searchlights that continually go on and off throughout the night do not bother me at all anymore. My eyes rest in moist, uninterrupted darkness. THANK YOU!

Comment: I recently purchased tranquileye goggles and couldn't wait to use them. The first night I wore them to bed and left them on for three hours. I felt no difference in my eyes. If you purchase all of the extra items that don't come with it than maybe the goggles will work. I read a few reviews before purchasing them and there are people who feel it works for them. So I would suggest purchasing the goggles and giving them a try. It may work for you.

Summary: A big help in sleeping or just resting dry eyes
Comment: Lavender Basic After several years, Lasik surgery left me with dry eyes that burn when I read or use my computer too long. I was starting to get floaters and even flashing and felt that my eyes were strained. Doctor told me I had dry eyes, a condition that age can bring on as can certain eye surgeries; symptoms are relieved by humidity. I ordered the basic Tranquileyes on the Internet. It comes with extra foam inserts and each set lasts up to two months, depending how frequently you use them. Basically a set of soft goggles that completely shut out the light and keep eyes moist during naps or long sleeps, I find they improve the quality of my sleep, leave my eyes rested and calm. There is minimum fuss to preparing them for use (a quick squeeze under filtered hot water) and the reward is well worth the trouble. Use eye drops to add to the moistening experience, I wish I had bought the more expensive version, which comes with more than one extra set of foam inserts, because I plan to use these goggles for a long time. I expected relief from scratchy eyes, but am so pleased with the improved quality of sleep as that seems to affect me in positive ways. A possible bonus: It's too soon for me to tell, but it seems obvious the prolonged humidity around the eyes will have a beneficial effect on diminishing wrinkles around the eyes.

Summary: I purchased these from an opthomologist who specializes in severe dry eyes
Comment: They are not perfect, but there is currently no other product on the market that fills this niche. "Tranquileyes" consists of rubbery-goggles (in your choice of color) that are lined with foam around the edges and are held on by a black adjustable nylon fabric strap. But here's what makes them unique: each eye cup holds a removable-visco elastic foam pad, that basically functions as a sponge for water to hydrate your eyes. Before you put them on, you add water to the spongy-pads and replace them into the eye-cups. You can use cold or warm water, depending on your needs. I prefer cold. I put them on last thing before I lay down to sleep, but first I apply lubricant drops or ointment to my eyes. It's a bit of a hassle, but it is an important part of my regime for eye-health and comfort. One design flaw is that the black strap adjustment clips do not work. I haven't gotten around to stitching them to fit, as I was instructed, and, as a consequence, they fall off during the night. Sometimes I will re-goop my eyes, re-wet the sponges, and put the googles back on during the night. The hot, scratchy, sand-paper feeling in my eyes has abated since I've been using this product. I have heard that it is useful for reducing/preventing "crow's feet" and migraines, but I just know that they help my dry eyes. (I bought the "deluxe" version becuase you get extra eye-pads for when the originals wear out.)

Summary: Weird- blurred vision
Comment: I bought this product because I thought it will help me with my eye allergies, but it just made it worse somehow. I wore it only twice, and I was afraid of wearing it some more- my vision got really blurry and my eyes were red and itchy.
Use caution, especially if you have allergies and high prescription power like me!
