Summary: Not as good as billed
Comment: The product has the same limitations that I think most electronic stethoscopes have. They serve to amplify the sound well which is good for noisy environments but does not do well in picking up the range of sounds needed in clinical practice. In particular, I find this stethoscope is very poor at detecting breath sounds. Not sure it is a good replacement for the conventional stethoscope at this time.

Summary: ADC Electronic Scope
Comment: The stethoscope, when it functioned worked very well. Unfortunately the electronics failed and it had to be sent back to the manufacturer within two weeks. Granted it was used frequently, but he did not standup to wear and tear of normal use. I hope this is not going to be an issue down the road when the scope is fixed or replaced.
According to the manufacturer and he has had very few malfunctions of this product, we will see.
