Customer Rating: Summary: Solid Product Comment: Fairly easy to assemble. I was able to safely hang just about upside down. The part that holds the ankles while I am inverted is a bit uncomfortable.
Customer Rating: Summary: great product-great price Comment: Have been having bad back pin..turned out to be a ruptured disc, for the second time.
Just had surgery again yesterday, and look forward to using this as a way of strenthening the spinal core.
I did use it for a few weeks, until I began to hurt too bad. It did relieve pain when inverted.
Would recommend over the more expensive prducts. Very well built for the price.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent - but just a little more money gets you a lot more extras Comment: Pros
It works, period
Inexpensive
Folds up up against wall
Cons
No anti-skid rubber stabilizers
Just a little bit more money gets you an even better model
Adjusting the table is a bit harder than the manufacturer implies
I've been using the Paradigm 100 Inversion Table for a good six months now and I've found it to be even better than expected in terms of results. I used to crack my neck all the time (stress) and I've found that I almost never do that now. I use the table to do a form of sit ups which has resulted in increased strength all the way around - neck, back and abdomen.
I was able to pick this up as a Gold Box deal (100 bucks) so I thought it was a real bargain. A few days later the 500 model was selling for the same price so I wasn't happy. Even now, as of this writing, there's less than $30 difference between the two.
For that little bit of extra cost you get more padding around the ankles (I wear heavy socks and haven't had a problem - but other reviewers have), anti-skid rubber stabilizers (why this isn't standard on the 100 is beyond me!), and larger/easier to use arm rails (easier to pull yourself upright). For me when the difference was $80 (initially with the GB deal) I was willing to sacrifice these extras. But the difference at regular prices just isn't that big considering what you get. Don't get me wrong, I found the Paradigm 100 to be a great product, but the 500 model is just better and you don't pay that much more to get it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Inversion table Comment: I felt that this was a good product for the value. My husband has lower back problems and uses it every day. He feels that it is helping. My only complaint (his also) is that the foot locks do hurt the ankles. I suppose this could be remedied by putting some kind of cushoining in them.
Customer Rating: Summary: what I expected- solid Comment: First- Shipping was 3 days faster than the tracker said it would take! A big bonus! Product overall is well built though one weld on the foot rest wasd "burned through" leaving a 1/8" hole in the weld. It is not a critical weight bearing part so i am not going to go through the return or having to take it apart process. As for assembly- usual slightly confusing directions. Not many nuts and bolts though! Had it together in 1/2 hour. Don't be an idiot like me and try it after dinner! Felt sick for an hour! Today was much better. I have learned to control my inversions and I do have to say, my back does feel better. As for storage- i was going to buy the nautilus set up for $199 at Sears but it was not storable- it basically was a monster! However, if you have the space the Nautilus machine is WAY better built! I can store the Paradigm by not using the pivot arm plates and losing the canvas frame things. Detach the tether strap and remove the bed for storage. Fits nicely in my bedroom corner. So far so good- not the amazing results others have talked about but i guess it depends on how bad your back is! For $125 it seems to be a decent deal.
